Background(s) for Blogger

So, every time I try to change my background for blogger, and upload some HTML code, it gets all screwy and doesn't look/work right! Ugh!

So, if anyone meandering through blogger, and sees my post about this issue, and wishes to comment to tell me how to fix this, please, feel free to do so! :)

It's been a while!

It's been a while since I've posted on this blog. I have a few.

On July 4th weekend, my husband lost my wedding rings. We can't find them anywhere. :( I really hope we find them...I know we haven't been married long, but I don't want to go through the rest of my marriage without them. And they're worth a lot of money!

I have no kids this week! Yippee! :) And my car goes in today for the rest of the week to get its butt fixed (I was rearended a couple of weeks ago).

I have a co-worker, she works at another site, and they made her regional purchasing agent...and now she wants to try to tell me how to do my job, when she's called me in the past asking me how to do her job! Figures, huh?

Sigh.

And I have also learned recently that an ex-FB of my hubby's is having weight loss surgery...is it petty of me to want to be at my goal weight before she's at hers?? >:) If it does, then I guess I'll be petty in this one instance!

My Venting Blog

I've decided to make this blog my venting blog and perhaps I'll just update with the date and a new post to keep it all together.

11/6/08 - So, I haven't had much to vent about lately. Hubby and I are getting along for the most part pretty well. The kids have been behaving themselves. All is pretty well in my world. Well, in my personal world anyway. My work world...well, that's a different story. Politics...that's all I'm going to say. I hate getting involved in office politics. OH - I did get a new car! WOO HOO!!! I know that's not venting, but I was happy about it. :)

9/17/08 - Last night my husband's ex sent an email accusing me of setting up a myspace page for their daughter (who's 12). My step-daughter totally and completely lied to her mother about it and blamed it all on me - saying that I set her up on it, that I told her to lie to her mother, and that she'd been feeling guilty for lying to her and was put through all of this because I thought it would be cute if my 12 year old step-daughter had a myspace page. Then when I confronted my step-daughter's mother and told her that she owes me an apology for saying that I set the whole thing up, she tried backtracking and saying that's not what she really meant. Ugh! We're supposed to be getting her this weekend, and at the moment, I'm just so upset and hurt that my step-daughter would say such things to make herself look better in the situation...I just don't even want to see her. Maybe I'll feel differently by Friday...so, I guess we'll see.
